This is from the EN VTubing fandom, but the wotagei section of "Diamond City Lights" gets me every time. I've never been able to go to an actual concert, but I've always chanted along whenever it shows up on stream. (I love the Enna speeeeen on this one too!)
Nice, I love a show where the audience is involved. Seeing a sea of penlights is awesome.
Himari has commented on the different feel of shows depending on the country and the audience's familiarity with idol traditions. She loves it when the audience lights up with red penlights.
Non-Sweet recently commented how the atmosphere will suddenly change when they come on stage. Announcers watching the wota file to the front with penlights don't know what to think.
I haven’t said much during the #SelenTatsuki shitshow because I was busy with my trip in Japan and waited for a good outcome. But yeah fuck #Nijisanji and long live #Dokibird. I unsubscribed from everything related to Niji and won’t ever support that company ever again. That company needs to go under and their current lineup needs to understand that it’s time to leave the sinking ship.
and just finished watching this surprisingly actually not disastrous nabe game where they have to pick ingredients based on other nijisanji vtuber names (and get to sabotage each other in one round):
rewatching the fuwagusa 3d live as i work on very tedious code review things... I wish I got into Mayuyu way before he graduated but this 3d live is such a touch of sunshine (esp when he appeared): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F39v6lc5Onw
Tbh the moment vtubers as a concept clicked for me is when I realized that this is the feeling of vocaloid/utaite community/fandom back in the 2010s. I should add that to my fandom history list...
