Uck. There's a guy running for city council as a dem in our district against our really phenomenal progressive representative. He's got a crazy amount of funding from real estate and we've been getting multiple crummy mailers from him every week. In one of the last ones he used a terribly edited photo of her in black and white encircled in red and black to give it nazi vibes.
Good to see the Greens forging ahead of the Tories in East Herts:
"Co-leader Adrian Ramsay visited the authority last month, boldly claiming he wanted 10 seats. As it stands, his party have a whopping 17 with the final two results expected at lunchtime.
"It means they're the largest party, although the Tories are close behind on 16, but will be more concerned they've lost a council where before yesterday they had 39 of the 50 seats."
It may be #MayTheFourth but it's also a #LocalElection day in the #UK and its government's new law requiring #VoterID is straight out of the Sith play book.
