Who the hell came up with the idea that the mouse cursor is drawn by the clients in Wayland? The cursor is so important, it should always be drawn by the compositor, always perfectly, and as close to vblank as physically possible.

Does anyone have a good solution for typing emojis in any random box on #Linux? Right now I’ve got compose key shortcuts set up for a few of them, but I have to remember which ones I’ve defined, and that doesn’t exactly scale. Ideally I’d be able to define a hotkey that would bring up a little search box that I can type in “tada” for 🎉 and “flamingo” for 🦩.
Hey @Gargron I know scrollbars are so passé for people with mice and touch screens, but they are the WORST for people with a pen input. Constantly jumping around because of infinite scroll.
Can we get radial scrollbars please? (see design attached)
Hi guys, just found out i can map the Touchpad click. And it is easy to press unlike R3 L3. I mapped it to Drive Impact, easier to spam than L1. Now i also have a spare L1 button, pretty nice....
BlueRetro: Open source and low latency multiplayer Bluetooth controllers adapter for retro video game consoles (github.com)
Saw these on MyLifeInGaming last night and it looks like a cool open hardware project so I thought I'd post it here....
PSA: You can map Touchpad click (ps4/5 controller) to an in-game action.
