There might be a ml of ink left in it but it won't write any more so I declare this pen empty! I'll wash it out later today and then I need to decide whether I want to try the new black shimmering ink or go back to the green one with sheen. #fountainpen
Emerald Fusion apparently has a fluorescent ink component, put it in water and this neon green ink comes out. Literally neon green. (Also, bonus nib pic)
#FountainPen folks, bizarre question - was cleaning out some Lamy FPs, and somehow the water ended up on the wrong side of the plunger. Nothing I'm doing is getting rid of it - is it dead? Or will the water eventually evaporate? 😬
Ich habe heute endlich mal mein Urban Sketching/Reiseset aktualisiert. Bisher fehlte mir häufiger ein Schreibfüller, denn der Kaweco Sport hat eine breite Feder und ich eine kleine Schrift, so dass ich ihn vor allem zum Zeichnen nutze. Meine anderen Füller waren aber zu groß für die Tasche. Dafür habe ich jetzt den TWSBI Diamond Mini mit EF Feder ergänzt. Jetzt kann ich unterwegs beim Befüllen des Reisetagebuchs Texte schreiben und Bilder malen.
#npd Today’s new #fountainpen is the BENU Matcha Latte Euphoria (Goulet exclusive). I love this color so much! All my Euphorias have Pilot Parallel pen (broad edge calligraphy) nibs in them at the moment, so this gusher B nib actually is quite reasonable by comparison. I have it inked with Sailor ink studio 280.
2 store exclusive inks made by Sailor and a Pilot Silvern. Although the Pilot maki-e pens were tempting, I don't have anything like the Silvern and think this pattern is gorgeous. And it's a Pilot, so writes like a dream.
Picked up "Italic Letters" from the Getty-Dubay series and the recommendation for lefties is to turn the page 90ish degrees (the picture is looking at my left hand and the page as I was). It's awkward and I'm unsure about it, but why not, I can always fall back to my reasonable Spencerian if I hate it. Working with a Kaweco #fountainpen with Noodler's Khruschev red #ink #handwriting
Does anyone know, was the Diplomat Nexus a limited/special edition pen? I'm seeing the gold nib variant is sold out pretty much everywhere and stores aren't putting up 'notify me when this is back in stock' options. #FountainPen
