The most comedically gravid, riff-ready piece of rules text I've read in a minute: "If a space becomes too crowded with Victims and other pieces, you may use a Victim Overflow board."
Nach einiger Zeit nochmal ne Runde #FinalGirl. Zum Reinkommen ohne Sonderregeln das Camp Happy Trails mit dem fiesen Butcher Hans. Und alles nur weil @codenaga mich getriggert hat. @brettspiele
Not an RPG, but just played a round of Final Girl by Van Ryder Games (a board game), and. Every time I play this game, I’m so amazed by just how good it is paced and structured. I don’t think I’ve ever won “easily”. Really captures the horror movie structure of almost dying and making a desperate last stand. #boardgames#solo#sologames#finalgirl#horror
I played my first game of Final Girl today (a board game). Charlie, who looked like she could be the star of an action movie rather than a horror movie, and Gepetto, the puppet master with his evil puppet minions.
Lets just say, it didn't go well. Charlies little brother was killed in the big tent, and then victim after victim fell. Charlie took out several puppets, but eventually, puppets and puppet master ran out of victims and turned on Charlie. She took two minions out, but eventually, she fell to Gepetto himself.
Some of you saw my random posts as I painted up the Series 1 #miniatures of #FinalGirl but I've finally got them into a collected blog post. Not only are there just pictures, but descriptions of the styles, products, and colors I used as I went through this #PaintingMiniatures journey. Enjoy!
I also re-took the photos and really liked how they turned out. Stay tuned for the official blog post at www.boardgamebreakdown.com with plenty more pictures!
Well, that was quick. How does anyone ever win as Nancy with her paltry 4 health? Inka grew his wrath crazy fast and then just started destroying everything around him.
I finally finished up my #FinalGirl#miniatures but having issues with how I want to photograph them for the blog.
Here are some examples of a really stylized version I did, that I think captures the #horror aspect of the game but I'm not sure if a more standard set would be better so people could see the colors used better.
Thoughts? I'm putting a poll in the replies to this post if anyone is interested.
Spent an hour total time (but about 30 min actually #painting) to get Laurie from #FinalGirl to this point.
I have a wash to apply tomorrow though I've never used a wash but hope it brings out some more definition between the light and the dark.
Not entirely sure what to do with the base. Thinking the girls will have matte black with a colored outside rim and the Killers have all blacl with blood splatter?
Listening some #OBrother for the first time in forever while I try my hand at #MiniPainting again
I've only ever done the 10 minis from My Little Scythe which are quite a bit bigger than these #FinalGirl#miniatures
I used slap chop before but trying something slightly different for these girls. Primed in black, then zenithal primed from the direction of a light source with Necrotic Flesh. Dry brushed white at light source and dry brush grey on dark. Hoping it makes it warmer than norm slap
Anyone have any tips on using washes? For the #minis I've painted previously, I primed in black, then dry brushed grey and then white. Then used just speed paints.
On these I think I want to prime with a light beige, then drybrush white, then use speeds. But a lot of people recommending washes after for deeper shadows. Any thoughts?
