There's always risks, when you choose to be openly #AuDHD, openly #DisabledPerson & openly a lifelong #SocialJustice & #EcoJustice activist; who doesn't hold back on blasting corrupt govts, cops, corporations & those who aid & abet those evil entities.
For me, those risks are high but needs to speak up/stand up/be a corrupt govts' PIA, trying to stop govt from fucking ppl & environment over more is essential to me being alive & still able to fight back.
If you only speak up & stand up for #SocialJustice & #EcoJustice, when it's convenient for you & never speak up much else - you're not an activist. You're a jumper-inner. Too many of those types.
Not enough ppl truly willing to step up harder to fight the corrupt systems.
I don't respect temps. I don't respect half asses. I don't respect folks who claim to want to change things but do nothing- if it's uncomfortable or may risk their 'reputation'.
Thank activists who aren't paid (huge myth!). Don't be thanking fucking politicians for changes that benefit #humanity & environment. Govt doesn't change their toxic shit without facing lots of activism first - having #citizens rise up against their BS/harmful policies.
They're the same #CorporateMercenaries that I faced with fellow activists at 2 different protection camps. Our governments have given them millions to abuse badge power & violate international laws.
@Free_Press well yes of course we have passed the point of no return. IPCC scientists recognised that 1.5C was the maximum change from pre-industrial levels without causing some extreme and irreversible effect. Tipping points are being reached which will accelerate climate change. And still we make it worse.
Its time we stood up against those wealthy CEO's and World Bank goons who have effectively waged war with the rest of humanity. They did this.
