I'm known to be insufferably stuck in the past, so unlike normal #MiniaturePainting people who might strip and repaint their earlier figures, I'm going to paint a whole other copy of this #dwarf. I even happen to still have the rest of the square bases package that I used in 2012...
The #MiniaturePainting throwback job is coming along pretty well. It took a couple of tries to match the blue. The old one was kind of drowned in black wash so it's a bit hard to make out some of the colors underneath. I'm trying to keep more or less the same colors, but I haven't decided if I want to change it a bit and paint a pattern onto the shield.
I'm not trying to spend a stupid amount of time on this.
