Recently I migrated this blog away from Tailwind to Bulma CSS framework, which uses a more semantical approach to CSS classes. In this post I show my implementation of a Stimulus controller for the Bulma Navbar component, to integrate with this blog use of Symfony UX and Stimulus Bridge.
Over the past week, I've been working on a #Vue / #Firebase / #Bulma app that has been sitting in the back of my head for a decade. I'm using composables for every logical object. This would be sooooo much more code with the options API but I can't help but look at a 1000 line view and think that I could make things even better.
The last couple of months I've been working on a little #rss reader that doubles as a (read-only) #mastodon client. The UI is closer to a Mastodon/Twitter feed than an email inbox.
I'm still experimenting with it, and it's missing a bunch of basic stuff, but I did add some cool features already, like an embedded reader mode and a send to #kindle button.
Decided to a thread of various art commissions I've done over the years. They're pretty much all suggestive, and I will tag as such, and I will also tag if they are NSFW. I'll probably do a separate thread with some thoughts and suggestions, as there are definitely pieces that I like more than others, and I've sort of learned a lot (and am still learning) about how to most successfully interact with artists. But I mean I appreciate them all...I love art! Commissions are way too much fun
I am not like, a huge DBZ person (I like it! but I'm not like deep into the fandom)...but I loooove bee's art, and was super excited to be able to commission her. I love her style, her colors, everything. I think you can tell that she is more experienced drawing Bulma than 17, but it's fine. I love this piece so much. She nailed the one-pieces
This is bee's OTP...not mine, but I think it can be really fun to let artists lean into stuff they're super into. also by far my most NSFW commission to date, hah hah hahhhhh. but I mean she has SO MUCH experience drawing these two and it really comes out. I love her art!!
