@amyfou Oh, real ones! 😉 I only know peccaries from the „Horizon: Forbidden West“ open world game on my PS5. Are these as dangerous as European wild boars? They seem to look a little smaller.
@amyfou If it’s a sow with piglets, looking is enough to let them go ballistic. Male boars might not object to looking if you keep several hundred feet of distance. 😆 A male boar can reach a shoulder height of 3ft 8" and weigh about 400lbs! Wolves? Nice doggos. A group of wild boars, that’s something to fear. 😎
@amyfou When we lived in a small village at the time our daughter was born, the landlady (farmer for all of her life) warned us not to go walking in or near the corn fields (your corn, maize) because the wild boars were plowing thru the fields for a snack.
