#TIL The first 48 bits of UUIDv7 is a timestamp (millisecond precision). This means that:
- Sorting UUIDs also sorts them by creation order
- You can easily extract creation time from UUID
- v7 solves the poor index locality of fully random UUIDs when used as primary/foreign keys
