minorninth,

Why can they do this but they can’t take down much more obvious account-stealing scams.

About once a day I see a Facebook post that tags a bunch of random people and tries to trick them into clicking a link to a phishing site.

When I report them, the mods say there’s nothing wrong.

On,
On avatar

then there are mods that approve ordinary pictures reported as having nudity or violence with no way to appeal or despute.

Fuck facebook!

digitalgadget,

This has been happening to me too. "... in an accident..." I click Report > Something else > Scam, but they just come back with "This doesn't go against our community standards" and the link to get the decision reviewed is broken. Three times this week and several times last few weeks. It's absurd.

silvercove,

When are they taking down disinformation networks tied to the US government?
