@jrefior if you find something else, I'd love to move off Stripe but the others I've tried have gone under, been too expensive to run a business on, or had such terrible docs I couldn't get them working :(

I wish I had a good answer, I'm still looking. At first I thought #Adyen looked good, until I learned about the monthly minimum invoice, which seems like a new business killer. Did you evaluate them?

Square is Jack Dorsey and cryptocurrency. Braintree was bought by PayPal (evil). Others are expensive/small/not great for other reasons.

Maybe go with any and then switch to Adyen if business grows big enough?

@jrefior I haven't heard of Adyen, but sounds like that would be a definite "no" for me too because of the minimum, I'll look into it though. The rest was more or less the list I evaluated (plus a few that are no longer in business). I wonder if NCB or a local credit union offers merchant services… I'm sure it won't be as polished, but I'll give up a lot to use a co-op venture.

An interesting but maybe impractical idea was to sign up for merchant services with some FedNow participating bank, e.g.
