@stroughtonsmith I've been yelling for 100 Bluesky invites. On Twitter, too many people going to Threads. I got one invite. Gave it to @brianroemmele for maximum impact. Their Android app is crashy shit. Web interface works.

@stroughtonsmith It really does feel like a VHS/Betamax moment. Like people are poking fun at, the protocol is better with Bluesky, but Instagram beat them to market. I know you have your reservations with I’m assuming Jack so you aren’t as interested in it, but a part of me is still hoping it wins out somehow. Either way, we’re going to be in a better landscape than we were before with whoever wins between ActivityPub and AT Protocol

@stroughtonsmith My Instagram is personal, so unless I create a second account I’m unlikely to use Threads for work related posting. So Bluesky is attractive for that reason.
