I think making decisions and moving on is helpful.

This doesn’t mean never changing a decision. Rather, it means not worrying about and revisiting decisions without new information or some reason to do so.

Most decisions are not between acceptable and unacceptable but between optimal and suboptimal. So if a potential outcome of a decision is acceptable but suboptimal, you can decide and then not worry about it anymore — maybe it’s not the best, but it’s fine.
