i have a feeling that something like 96% of AI product launches are just rebrands of existing features that weren’t so good to begin with

@exchgr 💯! I’m already tired of every app for writing or doing other creative things getting generative AI features put front and center.

The last thing I want when I’m trying to be creative is to hit a button and have a robot do it for me, but all of these apps seem to think it’s the most exciting thing.

@collin some of them even try to sell it as an accessibility feature for people who can’t right good. seems like the same kind of argument nft hype people were making re: compensating artists: not actually solving the problem, but also doing something creepy in the process
