@encthenet Apple already had this feature though, and I don't know how you can design a better / more secure system without getting every possible device/OS to support a standard protocol like the one they just got Google to support as well.

Now let's pretend that Linux phones start gaining marketshare. How many years before someone develops code for them to do the same?

Should the product really be banned from the market over safety fears? Wouldn't we also have to ban every GPS tracker on the market too?
