Often, our well and its relevant infrastructure have created problems that yield “oops, we have no water.”

And now, it has found a new idea. “Oops, we have too much water”

(This is not a request for help.)

A 1500 gallon well tank spills water out of its top lid as it overflows. I gesture at it and say “this is a well tank overflowing. It’s not supposed to do that”

The other well has a bad starter capacitor I think. Reads ~90uF where the label says 105-126uF

First well got its float switch adjusted today. Fingers crossed it doesn't act up gain and overflow the tanks.

Second well with its capacitor failed as well as the magic smoke being let out of the pump protection circuit. That was a spicy repair cost.

y'all out there thinking "You have a well? You don't pay for water! That's amazing!" it ain't free in money or stress 🤣

@whack the only free water comes from above you, and it only stays free if you have something clean up there to keep it in. Also whatever you come up with will get algae or some other nature trying to take it from you.
