Sentences announced in the "Kobane Trial" against 108 politicians connected to protests against Turkey blocking help to the border city in Syria while it was under attack by ISIL/Daesh as the last bastion of resistance against ISIL's genocide before ISIL would have gone on to invade also Turkey, during which Turkey instead aided ISIL with weapons, medical services and more.

Those governors were appointed by decree of dictator Erdoğan, not elected by the people.
Well, I mean... it's just a long well established fact, but to some it is regrettably news.
Some high level local/regional politicians of the ruling party said at the time when ISIL's dreg were literally touching Turkey's border fence (and helped by MİT and border guards across for hospital services so they could return to continue committing genocide, while the border guards blocked the refugees escaping ISIL's genocide and blocked the volunteers wanting to go help their neighbors defend against the atrocities... which was what the court case was about) publicly said that they wished for ISIL to invade Turkey, to further the falsely claimed "Caliphate" while also hinting at some expected role for Erdoğan as a Sultan within that false "Caliphate" (they said that they thought, while ISIL would no doubt have just beheaded Erdoğan and them too).
