@thomasfuchs I don't think being stalked or harassed is a fine response to anything - but what happened, someone found your email address?

Either way, the way you responded to being called out for using 'rape' in a context that was not about actual sexual violence was not kind.

Edit: went back to remind myself - it was worse than not kind, it was actively shitty. Enjoy your sabbatical 👋

You did unintentionally cross the line and after being called out on it, refused to admit fault, on a very traumatizing subject.

@thomasfuchs BTW I originally didn't get why calling the main branch in git "master" was a problem, because in my mind it meant "skillful person", as in "master journeyman".

I have since learned to listen to the victims and change my mind - what it means to them takes priority, because it's harmful and rubbing their nose in it should be avoided.
