@murena @e_mydata @gael updated my fp3 today.
while i am extremly greatful for your work, i want to ask: why is there a weather app preinstalled and running with access to my location? this is clearly not what i am expecting from a privacy-focussed os. also: nobody needs weather-apps. that is bloat by definition. PLEASE don't bloat! make better standard-apps optional instead, for example by providing to set them up when onboarding and after os-upgade.

@gael thanx! but im not even on bliss launcher (didnt like it when coming from fp1, dont remember why, happy with zim).
i was posting because i dont like it when bloat comes with a os (that can't be uninstalled). it does not fit into my idea of a privacy-os to give it access to location without asking.
fun-fact, because it is pre-set: once i remove location- & network-access and delete all app-data after that, it got access again… you see, this feels just wrong.

@zitrone there is no preinstalled weather app in /e/OS unless you are using a 3 years old build

so this means i have it, because i upgraded instead doing a fresh install?
(but since one os-upgrade wasn't possible, i did a fresh install about last year or so, less than two.)
