I always feel bad ordering off of Amazon but like.. I actually look for physical stores or stores that'll ship to me with decent return policies (sometimes I buy the wrong stuff!) and there's very few cases where I feel safe going elsewhere.

Buying stuff from local physical stores are the way I would go about shopping not just computer parts, but almost anything if it's an option that's available to me. But sadly that's not always the case sometimes I can only find the good stuff I'm needing in online stores. I'm avoiding Amazon and similar big online stores, rather buy form much smaller local online stores.
@fasterthanlime Amazon is always a last resort for me as well, but I don't really care about the return policies. It's just that it feels like 90% of products on Amazon are knockoff shit, and if electronics, potentially DANGEROUS knockoff shit.
I feel safer buying from a site that may make it hard to impossible to get a refund or exchange (though in practice, I don't think that's ever been the case for me), than buying something with a battery that may swell and explode.
