Enjoying a Life of Crime!
Ah, I love Monday evening TV which, tonight, consists of:

Brokenwood Mysteries — a police series set in New Zealand
The Vanishing Triangle — a true story of a serial killer set in Ireland
Harry Wild — a PI series also set in Ireland

I love Acorn TV for the choice of shows offered from all over the world. Which includes lots of murder-mysteries, police dramas, and all things crime. https://acorn.tv/brokenwoodmysteries

Brokenwood - yay!

(Had to buy the DVD set a while ago, though.)

@kiwi2002 Hope you enjoyed it, it’s one of my favourite shows at the moment.

@kiwi2002 There’s some great shows coming out of there. I loved 800 Words too, that was fun.

@Clianthus Acorn TV is a fun streaming service. We discovered it last year.

@toddztoonz It's my kind of crime show. Just enough mystery, no violence, a lot of dark or droll humour, and fun characters.

@toddztoonz Yeah, we always want more, but at an hour and a half, we're still getting a movie's worth each episode.

@alexandra That's a really good point. Never thought to reframe it as an actual movie. In that respect less is actually more and allows a bit more time to binge on our other five streaming channels 😄

@toddztoonz Those were my thoughts. 😜

@alexandra Have you seen Blue Lights yet? It's on BritBox I think - set in Belfast about rookie cops on the PSNI. I loved it!

@amerpie No, but I can hope that it comes to Acorn (we don't have BritBox).

    @alexandra
Acorn TV flies under the radar as good value streaming (I said good, not great!).
There are a number of hidden gems in there.

@MikeFromLFE I agree, it's good rather than great. They have some really good programs and then again, some really bad ones too.
