When you wake up at 4.30 and can't get back to sleep, so decide to make the cookies and muffins for tonight and do the shopping and post the Week and it's still only 11am.
At least the cricket's on the radio, I can doze for 90 minutes this afternoon.
Anyway, the Week reflects on the Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals, previews tonight's final, and explains why this year's contest hasn't quite been top-drawer television.
And the all-important Wrong Sort of Shiny warnings - performances that might make your eyes go funny, or trigger health problems in those more susceptible. (Sadly, it's quicker to list those that should be OK.) http://www.ukgameshows.com/ukgs/Weaver%27s_Week_2024-05-12
@daweaver Re semi-finals overrunning - were the official end times given by the EBU not the same as the times given by the BBC? Both shows were listed on the EPG as ending at 22:20 BST, and both shows ended within 2 minutes of that time.
@daweaver Freeview EPG definitely said 22:20 here. I fully agree that even the scheduled time is too long and far too late though, especially for the final.
