GothAndy, 1 month ago @Jyoti I had an awful argument with a youngster not long after I joined Mastodon. It was about eating clay. He'd commented something about digesting clay possibly being good for you because of its ability to absorb stuff. He argued with me, I said clay generally doesn't absorb much. You know, it's clay. It's not known for its absorbent quality. He said no, clay gets dry, it cracks, but then you get it wet and it's fine. He called me "confidently wrong" for saying "don't eat clay".
