Arcane was never supposed to be canon, so that the writers were free to better fit everything to the format of a television show. This meant an alt universe where Arcane's "Ekko" has hoverboards (conflicting with the Chronobreak comic) and is an orphan (conflicting with literally every other piece of his lore, and Zeri's).
It has also been explained to me that Riot has had massive turnover, owing to, among other things, a forced return to office after covid, meaning almost none of the original creative, narrative, and writing teams are still around from the 2010s. This is why I reject the new material and "version pin" to the proper lore.
@sun_eat3r@r000t ekkos lore is you used to play him toplane in 2016 which is the last time a true tank meta existed (rip GA) and that is why 2016 was the last great season
@sun_eat3r@r000t atleast they finally allow reksai to hit more than one target with unburrow where she can finally be a tank again. You probably don't even know her original ult (the most broken shit in the game back then)
@sun_eat3r@r000t she used to be op in jungle originally and would have tunnels all over the map, her original ult instantly brought her to one of your choice so once you had a lead it was almost impossible to lose momentum if you were the better jungler
@sun_eat3r@Paulajak@r000t I only played original rake and played way less when seraphim came out but lulu is always fun. Brazil most famous play was actually done with a lulu. I only ever played weird stuff mostly though

Just btw have any of yall had any issues with the new anticheat or know anybody who has?
I'm afraid to play right now because I don't want to lose all of that progress. I keep a separate computer for League and don't run anything on it that's not League but I've heard way too many horror stories about false bans even on clean equipment. @Paulajak@sun_eat3r
