kylew01, 1 month ago @janbeta I wish I had that skill. I have a Performa 638 that’s power supply has such a high-pitch tone that I have to unplug it when I’m not using it.

janbeta, 1 month ago @kylew01 You should definitely (have somebody) take a look at the psu. I read that the high pitched noise is usually the final symptom before the capacitors go bust in a violent way.
