📚 Finally found my pet peeve with Kobo. It was not too easy.

I wish books not purchased from Kobo would sync across devices. Seems like all my previously bought books load with no issues, but do not sync.

I could load them on multiple apps, but reading progress will not update.

@maique Been following your thoughts on the Kobo as they seem like great devices.

No sync between the device and app is a show stopper for me ☹️.

@ravi It is a wonderful device.

The lack of sync, mind you, is only for non-Kobo shop books. The ones you get from the official store sync perfectly.

@maique I think you can do this with the Kobo using Calibre, but then you’d need to manage Calibre.

@mcg Oh. How would that work? What I’m looking for is: load a book in the Kobo. Read.

Pickup the phone. Find the book already on the Kobo app, on the page I last saw on the Kobo e-reader.

This is what I had with Kindle. How will Calibre accomplish this?
