earlier today at a vegetated area outside of a government office i saw a juvenile (or female) house sparrow carrying something green in it's beak. suddenly another sparrow started biting the juvenile's beak. more and more sparrows joined. each time the juvenile would fly away and land the mob would gather again and attack the juvenile. It seemed like they wanted to take the green thing. eventually they dispersed. the juvenile never let go of the green thing. i wonder what it was
