@serge Is this about his monologue? I obviously think these protests are extremely misguided at best, but his monologue seemed sensible? Unless there's more I didn't see (I'm not American and didn't see the whole show).
If you think that it's reasonable to scream at Jews, physically assault them, block them from accessing their campus, throw fake blood on them, and chant for their murder, then please unfollow me.
He said that "as long as the protests at Columbia are peaceful, they should be allowed to protest".
This is a total distortion of the situation, though, because what exactly does "peaceful" mean?
One could make the disgusting argument that the tiki torch protests were "peaceful" too, as they stormed around changing hateful slogans, but of course Colbert was against it- because he should be!
Here, he didn't mention the antisemitism, or issues of both mental and physical safety of the Jewish students.
He literally erased Jews from the discussion entirely.
Jewish erasure is antisemitism, and in this case the omission is glaring and disgusting.
