@amszmidt @screwtape It was certainly very pleasant working on Lisp machines that were essentially turtles all the way down (there was a tiny bit of BCPL at the very bottom of the stack, but it was the equivalent of the BIOS). To be able to read, understand and edit anything in your system is just nice.
