Yes. Sidren, the heroine of Dragon Prey, has a club foot. She uses a staff to get along and can't really walk far.
She doesn't let that stop her, of course.
Indeed, she does what must be done when her tribe splits under the pressure of being hunted by firebeasts. She becomes the leader her people need - and does the unthinkable.
