@evan When is "the end"? And what is sideways? Cause I felt like it went pretty sideways at the end of Messiah - and as we get closer to the end of Children, the whole Alia/twins/Corrino/Bene Gesserit/Preacher pentagon is getting pretty wild.
@dneary Yeah, there's a big twist at the end of Children of Dune, and it changes the history of the empire for the next 5000 years or so, which is covered in the later books.
@evan You weren't kidding about that plot twist! Holy Moly! I felt sorry for Sabiha, the woman who guarded him, who was surely punished after the twist.
