@stux I was expecting to be offended, but he knew exactly what he was talking about. Something inside you dies when you are poor. Capitalism and greed is the ruination of our species. Get rid of poverty and I think so many other things will fall into place. Fighting poverty is more likely to solve the global warming crisis than carbon offsets that don’t do anything at all.

@calculsoberic it really "breaks down spirit" and a lot of time of the day is spending "thinking" about it making it only worse

If 'surviving' becomes the main priority many other things are a luxery at that point
