Holy cow. This battery-powered SUV from Chinese manufacturer Li Mega has a 102 kWh battery (range of around 600 km (372 miles) and has been demonstrated charging from 10% to 80% in under 11 mins, hitting 521 kW peak.

Incredibly impressive, now where are our 1/2 megawatt chargers ??

@Rjdlandscapes This comes back to chicken vs egg in regard to super-mega-fast charging vehicles.
We could probably have such chargers, but they'd have to be next to substations or running off battery packs that fill constantly off the grid.
Either way, it's spendy!

Rjdlandscapes,

@KiwiEV

Yeah it'll suck a 300/350 dry and thats plenty quick enough

tbh a 50 is fast enough for me I dont want to rush my pint and pie

@Rjdlandscapes If you puree your pint and pie together, you could chug it really quick.
