I wonder what organizations running NextCloud are using for collaborative office solutions. Is it OnlyOffice? Something else? No collaboration but NextCloud sync somehow and local LibreOffice? 🤔
Spreadsheet: simple document with 4 sheets + references across sheets. Wrong viewpoints all the time.
Wordprocessing: creating a new document & trying to edit. Even that failed multiple times. When it was finally open, the lag was dramatically (approx. 5-10s for each interaction).
Filemanagement (NextCloud): renaming a file failed a couple of times until it worked.
So far, everything related to NextCloud was a desaster to me. 😔
@publicvoit@theron29@number137 Hi, if your problems start with a simple file rename...then maybe you should look more for problems on the Server/hosting, nextcloud installation or performance, then on Nextcloud/Collabora in general?
Would you care to share your setup, how you are running it? Or what are you trying to achieve?
I'm running the Nextcloud and Collabora office at my home, on a RPi4, behind reverse proxy and SSL, accessible on my public domain from the internet, and it works pretty well...
