@Offroadrj thanks, it has to happen sometime. My good buddy from the Navy, way back in the 70s, his family adopted me as one of their own. Mom's little boy was alone in Halifax and we took him in. My wife and I had him over often, so his family already knew when they met me in Ottawa, and treated me like family. His mom treated me like one of her boys, so I was close to her too, but wanted to support my adopted family from afar. Via live stream
@jamieannmason It's the first virtual funeral I've attended. There's no screen to see you, but you can send video or audio messages. It's set to watch the funeral with the family.. Kind of good for those who can't attend in person. His Mom adopted me in the 80s.. I was just another of her boys so we were close enough to wish to be there for support. The family looked old.
