@Edent That long-form article about Snopes that’s been doing the rounds the last couple of days mentions “… Usenet, a precursor of sorts to Reddit” and I immediately crumbled to dust.
(I would love to see a Usenet 2.0, but it needs private-key managed identities and distributed moderaton/shared killfiles. I wonder if something like NNTP wrapped inside a Nostr envelope would work…)
