@kurtseifried What do you miss most? The UI? the multitasking? Rexx? The configuration? The stability (especially when running DOS apps)?

@dazo it didn’t crash. It ran more than one app at a time. I also didn’t get any stupid viruses.

@kurtseifried IIRC that was the first true multitasking desktop OS. Mixed feelings myself, but then again that might be the timeframe I dealt with it (mid 90s) creeping in.

@simplenomad same hardware, when I went from windows 3.11 (the PC came with a pirated copy) to OS/2 it was amazing, then upgrading from 4 to 8 megs of ram and the cpu started consistently overheating because it was finally being asked to do enough work (aka more than one app at a time).
