@ocramius What do you calculate, how, and why?

ocramius,
@ocramius@mastodon.social avatar

@hywan inputs: latitude, longitude, altitude, time, target luminosity, measured luminosity.

Outputs: light temperature, light intensity.

Based on a configured curve (using some bezier nodes), this makes light easier at night time, and more intense and stimulating during peak activity hours.

ocramius,
@ocramius@mastodon.social avatar

@hywan the outputs go to my currently turned on lights.

@ocramius@mastodon.social avatar

@hywan also, I reduce power usage by reducing brightness if ambient light is sufficient

@ocramius That's really smart. Is the code open source?

ocramius,
@ocramius@mastodon.social avatar

@hywan nay, local spaghetti: can share though.

@ocramius Spaghetti are tasty, perfect.

@ocramius Oh, there is no code? Only a graph like this?

@hywan @ocramius the 'code' is below the graph. It's one part of node-red I am not a fan of
