FAO white people: it's Diwali and Bandi Chhor Divas. More than a billion people in the world celebrate it. Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and some sects of Buddhists set off fireworks over the days it occurs and is a major religious festival all over the world that happens annually. That's why fireworks are going off when it's way after bonfire night
I am not of a tradition that celebrates Diwali but I fucking love it, there's such a beautiful sense of togetherness as the fireworks go off and light up the sky. Warms the heart in these miserable, cold times and I really seeing and hearing it. Happy Diwali to all who celebrate it!
