I had tried to get started on Bluesky because i know furries/rubberfurs, who aggresively pull in their friends to join BS
I also note the effect that people are too tired to manage "another app" and therefore neglect Fediverse
But i can alsp say, beeing on BS is VERY depressing experience if you are looking for actual conversation with people, expect to get lierally ZERO response ever
That site is tailored for influencer accounts and their tenthousands of passive followers

The kink Mastodon has very clearly fallen silent in the recent weeks, the only exception is that @NaughtySpotti came back here after a break and is very welcome
Infosec is not my thing, cant comment
The Hamradio and Retrocomputing parts of Mastodon seem to be pretty alive but also got weaker
@mib@gearlicious@dollmaidcrystal
It gets even more frustrating if someone like me is not very interested to see "Content" but to actually connect with the people and get involved in RL events
The feeling when you were for a few months so close to be part of "the world" and now everything slips away and you cant grab anymore
@crazy_pony@gearlicious@dollmaidcrystal By 'content', I don't just mean pictures, but also an exchange of content. But I hardly find any interaction here. But that seems to be rather due to the (my) rubber bubble and not generally to Mastodon.
I have found a few great people at Kik. But even that is only a small (but very active) group. But Kik is a disaster as a platform.

Ah ok, for me "content" has become a word for the Distribution of "Content" from "Creator" to "Consumer"
Im sorry that i have not much responded to you, im honest to say i have in the recent months not very often had a "trigger" where someone posted anything that i felt i could add a serious answrr
@crazy_pony@mib@gearlicious To be fair to content, the invite only system of Beta Bluesky means that it's packed with content creators trying to establish themselves ahead of the door opening for the general audience. The main social interaction there is going to be shitposting at each other until there's enough people there to make it worth sharing broadly.
