I downloaded an archive of my data and deactivated my Twitter account today. I haven’t used the account in about a year. I’d had an account since 2008 and in that time I gained 7,858 followers. It was my favorite social network for a long time. It’s very sad what happened to it. Bye Twitter, we had a good time while it lasted.
@danirabbit I felt a hole in my activities after deleting it years ago as well. It is really strange to think after it how much time was invested into it. Made some friends there. I miss that since nowadays. Having said that Masthodon is not an equal substitute but it is good.
