@fossrob Don't forget SuSE's CEO and some C-level are former Red Hatters with decades of experience, so in a way they're working how they know to work.

@fossrob SuSE CEO spent 15+ years as a high level executive at Red Hat, so he knows how Red Hat operates. I imagine he’ll repeat what he saw, working the way he worked at Red Hat but at a higher level.

The general manager for EMEA, that stayed more than 10 years as well, is now at SuSE.

@lasombra_br in developing OpenSuSE and SLE I'd think that's a good thing. But I mean, this "banding together with other competitors to allow everyone to easily clone RHEL" isn't something I imagine RH doing 😔

Make SuSE better why all this effort to go after RH? 😔

@fossrob Yeah… SuSE always had a good thing going and they could have pushed SLE given the repercussion of the recent changes. Get the 10 million USD and pump into strengthening SLE, but it seems they see more value becoming another downstream of CentOS Stream, or RHEL.

I don’t get it tbh and that’s why I mentioned their C-level.
