Very true! From a client:

> The PDI coaching program was a game-changer for me. It was during this program that I came to recognize that everyone suffers from impostor syndrome and that, while there are many ways to learn Python, the most important thing is to start coding and working on projects, even if they seem simple. It is the coding repetition that instills knowledge and even experts still look up things. Also, Git/GitHub are not scary tools!

ninabusch,

@pybites Any tips on how to overcome imposter syndrome? What caused you to feel imposter syndrome?

@ninabusch check out https://pybit.es/articles/overcoming-imposter-syndrome/ - although "overcoming" might not be the right word, it's more like "handling"; imposter syndrome will always be there but it's also a good thing, it keeps you humble and growing.

@ninabusch curious to hear what makes you ask?

ninabusch,

@pybites I am a student looking to pursue a career in technology and potentially programming. I tend to feel imposter syndrome quite often and am looking for other perspectives, especially through social media!

@ninabusch sorry missed your reply. What is it with social media? Did the article above help?

@ninabusch we also did an event on imposter syndrome recently, check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7djHgAMs3Q
