@kubikpixel I have Matrix client for some IRC like services but those require messaging through servers. Olvid has no servers and no user accounts. So you’re saying Matrix supports this model? I’ve not encountered such a use case yet. But if it does I’m curious.
@kubikpixel i tried element but it didn’t last. FluffyChat has been my favorite for now. Multiple profiles and notifications are my favorite functions.
But the thing that draws me to Olvid — if it is confirmed — is that it offers client to client direct comms, like Telegram private chat.
@kubikpixel ah yes. I’ve had people mention the enterprise version that has servers. That’s not my use case. Just a person looking to avoid the RADAR and porting eyes as much as posssible. So no enterprise/server functions for me if at all possible. 😁
