A bit more info for those that are interested. This is another pic from the same trip as the top post. On the left is Loch Carron again, although this one is much nearer the sea / Inner Sound. The other photo was taken to the east of Plockton, this one is to the west, but both are taken looking east(ish).
Both are also taken so long ago it was before phones did the easy panorama thing; the vague lines (which I've tried to get rid of) are from patching together individual photos many years ago!
One final snippet of extra information; the crab claw and lichen photos I've been scribbling on - they were taken on the shore just to the left of this photo. It's an excellent shoreline. There's a coral beach just up the way as well, which I'm confused that I can't find photos from.
@talktech The flights being cheaper fills me with rage. I have family down south and they tend to use the train to get here but it would be cheaper to fly. So, so wrong.
For those that would like to know, this is Loch Carron, a sea loch on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands. It is very lovely and in this instance features PERFECT clouds. Just look at those fluffy beauties.
