Just be careful. I have 9 Nintendo handhelds now, and shelves full of games that I paid way too much for. Most recent score was a new in box DSi in red and I love it.
Be aware you can play DS games on the “new 3DS” as well which is going for about $100, which is cheaper than that.
However, to answer your question more directly, I found one available here www.amazon.co.uk/…/B000FTQR8K in stock for £60. It was one of the first google results I found for “ds lite price”.
Yeah… the newer 3DS could play my DS Pokémon game, but not my game boy advance Pokémon game. And you only get dongle trade on a DS lite. Thanks for the link. That’s the lowest price I’ve seen so far. I might just go with that one.
That’s a great point, the DS lite is a beautifully made console and it also plays GBA games really nicely as well (literally has a gba built into it) but with any of the 2ds/3ds line you can quite easily soft mod them and carry around a huge games library, also battery life and charging the device is better than the DS lite
I can’t wait to see what Nintendo has in the oven for its next console. My hopes are that it will be retrocompatible with Switch games, and an increase in VC games (Gamecube when?). Imagine the possibilities of a Game pass a la Nintendo with their previous generations!
Yeah, this rumor involves Illumination Entertainment studio for making Legend of Zelda. It something that is better suited for Ghibli studio to handle so I'm not very keen on it, so we'll have to wait and see if it have any merit.
