What do you mean by icons?

I think its doable in the Administration menus for the instance admin. But that depends on where those icons are referenced.

It's definitely a server admin question.

It might be as doable as just modifying the manifest.json to point to it and saving that off. Similar to how you have to modify certain files to do posts greater than 500.

I just don't know how the upgrades would be handled later, could be just a bit of a pain on that side.

@schizanon @CWSmith there's this option under "branding" in the admin panel. I wonder if that does it. I'd do it, but I don't want to do something I can't remove because I like just having the regular Mastodon logo as of right now.🤷‍♂️

@schizanon @CWSmith why specifically mastodon.social? it's officially run by Mastodon Gmbh, so I doubt they'd change their icon to something that doesn't match the official one.
