@cheeaun ah shoot I guess I have to open an issue anyway, it defaults to text search and theres no way to change the default and I don't have post search on my home instance
"defaults to text search" — you want it to search accounts and hashtags too? Would be interested to know your use-case 🙇♂️

@cheeaun honestly the main thing I use search for is to respond to posts. I come across a peertube video or pixelfed photo etc and want to load it into my home instance so I can leave a comment or response to it directly.
but the ability to default a search tab to a remote instance would be cool af, cause I would totally just default to searching text on mastodon.social and then interacting from my remote account
@cheeaun super cool, but is there any way to then interact with my other account from the search results? The cross account actions are one of the best features of @tootapp that I would love to see more of that interaction possible from the web
