Kinoite is great. I spent the Fedora 39 cycle and a few months with 40 on it. Iirc krdp is included and should be working so that should make remote management a bit easier, should the need ever arise. 🙂
All updates are handled through Discover, but no (functioning) auto update support yet. It is WIP, hopefully for 41. So if you do go the Kinoite route do remember to teach them how to do updates a whatever interval you think is needed 👍
